Dance extravaganza 8-11 JULY 2010 Thursday 8th July 2010 8pm BAYOU SECO are from Silver City New Mexico. Jeanie McLerie and Ken Keppler move their audience to dance, laugh and cry (sometimes all at the same time) with their inimitable blend of music and humour . A lively night that spans Cajun, Zydeco and Tex Mex music.   Friday 9th July 2010 8pm SALSA DANCE PARTY A latinHot night of dancing. Anyone can try the fun introductory lesson to Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and other Latin rhythms, followed by Latin disco and demo from Lisa and Mark.They will demonstrate salsa for you. Once you are you're up on the floor you won't want to sit down.  Saturday 10 July 2010 4pm - 6pm Tea dance 8pm - Midnight JAZZ with a BERNERS TINGE DENNY ILETT snr. with DENNY ILETT jnr. & friends.   One of the rare occasions that father and son grace the stage together. Denny snr. was acclaimed by Humphrey Lyttleton as "The finest trumpet player in the U.K. He was a member of the chart topping "Temperance Seven" (one over the eight) he has also performed with, Mr Acker Bilk, Humphrey Lyttleton, Kenny Ball and Terry Lightfoot , to mention a few.  Sunday 11 July 2010 8pm BARAKA world music band  A unique combination of musicians from Ghana, Senegal, Dominica, Northern and Southern Ireland. After their success in Faringdon with their fund raising gig for HAITI we have decided to invite them back for a closure party of the Festival . EVERY 1st Tuesday of the month at the Corn Exchange FREE ADMISSION  OPEN STAGE PROJECT Open to ALL performers Singers, Instrumentalists, Poets, Actors, Comedians............. or something else!
